Vitacon VITASCAN PD - 100570MP Portable with Trolley Ultrasound Bladder Scanner 

The VitaScan PD Bladder Scanner serves as a safe, easy, and noninvasive method of identifying, tracking the location, and displaying a real-time image of the bladder. Vitacon's Ultrasound Bladder Scanner provides a 3D multi-plane scan from one position of the body with three selectable scan depths (100mm, 160mm, and 230mm) to accommodate to various body types. The VitaScan LT Bladder Scanner automatically measures urinary bladder volume and Post Void Retention (PVR) in just 3 to 4 seconds with results accurate to +/- 10% (20ml). A manual measurement with auto recalculation may be taken.

Vitacon's VitaScan PD Bladder Scanning Device is designed to be user-friendly, featuring a one-button control for the scanner's start and stop function with both "Simple" and "Advanced" scanning modes. The "Advanced" scanning mode captures multiple (default of 6) images of the bladder and takes a composite volume measurement reading, while the "Simple" mode quickly provides a volume measurement with 1 image. No calibration is required with the included VitaScan Verification Test Tool and no sonographer is needed for use.

The VitaScan PD Bladder Imaging System features a built-in thermal printer and the console includes an integrated handle for carrying. A USB port allows for data to be saved on an external storage device. The battery life of the Portable Bladder Scanner lasts for roughly 6 hours of continuous scanning. Vitacon's VitaScan PD Bladder Scanner comes with a 7" color touch screen console with intuitive software installed, running on a Linux OS for ensured security and fast performance. The VitaScan PD Bladder Locator is also available with a rolling medical and built in monitor stand and basket. Available accessories for the Portable Bladder Scanner include the VitaScan calibration tank, phantom bladder, and verification test tool
